Thompson-Boling Arena is home to the U.T. Men's and Women’s basketball and Women's Volleyball teams.

The site is also used for other events such as concerts, conventions, and other sporting events such as NBA exhibition games.

Directions to Thompson-Boling Arena

From East of Knoxville:
* I-40 West towards Knoxville
* Take Exit #388A James White Parkway
* As you exit, get into right lane before merging onto James White Parkway.
* Once on the Parkway, follow signs for Neyland Drive / Univ. of Tenn. BEWARE: James White Parkway goes to the left, Neyland goes ahead. Stay on Neyland.
* Appx 1/2 mile ahead on the right is Neyland Football Stadium and a large Parking Garage. Thompson-Boling Arena is just after the parking garage.

From Northeast of Knoxville:
* I-81 South I-40 West towards Knoxville
* Take Exit #388A James White Parkway
* As you exit, get into right lane before merging onto James White Parkway.
* Once on the Parkway, follow signs for Neyland Drive / Univ. of Tenn. BEWARE: James White Parkway goes to the left, Neyland goes ahead. Stay on Neyland.
* Appx 1/2 mile ahead on the right is Neyland Football Stadium and a large Parking Garage. Thompson-Boling Arena is just after the parking garage.

From North of Knoxville
* I-75 South to I-275 South towards Knoxville
* I-275 to I-40 East (towards Asheville)
* Take Exit #388A James White Parkway
* As you exit, follow sign for James White Parkway (left lane as you exit)
* Once on the Parkway, follow signs for Neyland Drive / Univ. of Tenn. BEWARE: James White Parkway goes to the left, Neyland goes ahead. Stay on Neyland.
* Appx 1/2 mile ahead on the right is Neyland Football Stadium and a large Parking Garage. Thompson-Boling Arena is just after the parking garage.

From South of Knoxville:
* I-75 North to I-40 East towards Knoxville
* Take exit #386B, Rt 129 / Alcoa Highway / Airport
* Once on Alcoa Highway, get into second from right lane (far right lane exits to Kingston Pike)
* Take Neyland Drive Exit
* Turn Left onto Neyland Drive
* Stay on Neyland Drive for appx 1 1/2 miles (third traffic light). Arena is ahead on the left (next to Pratt Pavilion basketball practice facility).

From West of Knoxville:
* I-40 East towards Knoxville
* Take exit #386B, Rt 129 / Alcoa Highway / Airport
* Once on Alcoa Highway, get into second from right lane (far right lane exits to Kingston Pike)
* Take Neyland Drive Exit
* Turn Left onto Neyland Drive
* Stay on Neyland Drive for appx 1 1/2 miles (third traffic light). Arena is ahead on the left (next to Pratt Pavilion basketball practice facility).
